Why would I buy your analysis? There are other sites that are for free!

Don’t worry, you will know if buying our report is worth it or not. We would never want you to spend your hard earned money without knowing exactly what you are buying. When you upload/import your bill, you will see a "Free View" of the savings we find before you buy your analysis. This "Free View" will tell you exactly how much you will save MINUS the $5 cost of your report.

But why are you charging me money to use your service? There are free sites offering the same thing!

We have to make money and we don’t want to distract you with ads, and your analysis is completely independent of all the carrier’s wallets. Those "free" sites are commissioned by the carrier when you change your plan through them. This means they are financially motivated to get you on a higher price plan because the carrier will give them more money if you go on a higher price plan. Using those "free" sites are like going to a Mom & Pop store and asking them to analyze your bill. Besides, they analyze less than .01% of the information we analyze. If you want something for free, remember there is always a catch.

I never did receive my analysis and cannot find how to get it. Please help!

Are you sure you paid for your analysis? If you didn’t pay, you won’t have an analysis. Sometimes our users see the "Free View" of the savings we found and think that is the analysis... that isn’t the analysis. Just to be sure, log into your account at www.validas.com and click on "My Bills". If there is no report there you did not pay. If you still think you’ve paid, email the Wireless Butler at

I see $30 savings, how do I know the analysis is going to tell me the best plan? I don’t see a refund option and I’m hesitant to part with my money.

While all sales are final, if you see savings before buying an analysis and after you buy it there are no savings we will refund your purchase. While this never ever happens, we want to make sure you know this. Have some faith, we risked everything to save you money, not cost you more.

I recently purchased 5 uses of validas for my cell phone bill. I mistakenly uploaded the same bill 3 times.

Email , the Butler will see what happened. If you did upload the same bill 3 times and paid for them, he will be more than happy to help you.

I tried to purchase a report. You said there was an error when you tried to get approval for the charge from my credit card. I’m not sure if it was billed or not. I still do not have my report.

If we said there was an error in processing your payment and you don’t see a full analysis, then there is an issue with your credit card or financial institution. I’m sure you pay your bills, but you really should check with your financial institution to see why your purchase didn’t go through. Just remember, we risked our entire lives to help save you money the last thing we want to do is take your money without giving you our valuable service.

I use a Mac, is there anything different I need to do when uploading my bill to your site?

If you upload your bill, yes there is a specific way to save your bill. If you import your bill with a Mac, there is nothing different you need to do. Here are instructions on saving your bill on a Mac:

When saving your bill using a Macintosh computer you must use the SAVE FILE option. If you use the Open with Preview option your bill will not be processed accurately and we cannot guarantee it will work at all.

Can I use my own PDF program (ghostscript, pdf-xchange, adobe, bluebeam) to save my wireless bill?

I scanned my paper bill but I keep getting an error when I upload it to your site. What’s going on?

No, you must use the original pdf bill provided by your carrier. You can not use a scanned copy of your paper bill because our technology can only read the PDF that your carrier’s web site provides; it can not read scanned bills.

Your site found a better price plan that I should be on. What are you guys going to do, change my price plans for me?

Not at all, we aren’t carrier resellers... we are wireless bill experts. But here is how we get your plan changed for you: Our technology drafts a personalized email to your carrier from our site. All you have to do is review the email our technology creates and press "send message". The carrier will reply to you, and that email will appear in the email inbox of the email address you have registered with Validas.

If I bought the package of 10 uploads, am I able to analyze my bill and someone else’s bill such as my parents or grandparents?

I am having trouble getting my carrier login info to import my cell bill, can you help?

Double check your username and password that you use to log into your carriers web site: Go to your carriers web site and log on with it.

I have an AT&T bill with wireless, DSL and my home phone service on it, but I keep getting an error. I’m not sure what is wrong.

Our technology does not analyze mixed-service bills. We know you can download a wireless PDF from that bill but that still won’t work.

I am trying to Import a cell bill on your site, but you’re asking me for my carriers login and password. I have no idea what this is! How do I find out what my username and password is to my carriers web site?

Go to your carrier’s web site, and follow their instructions for "forgot password" or "forgot username". This will only exist if you have logged into your carriers web site to view your account before. If you have never logged into your carriers web site, all you have to do is register your account on your carrier’s web site and go back to validas.com and import your bill.

How do I get my T-Mobile bill into the correct PDF format?

It’s very easy, you just have to download a specific PDF software. Here are step by step instructions on how to download your bill using this software:
  1. How to download your T-Mobile bill from www.t-mobile.com (Includes Windows and Mac instructions)
    • T-Mobile’s web site doesn’t generate a PDF, and our technoloy requires all bills to be saved in a PDF format. Don’t worry, just click the following link to get the only software that will put your T-Mobile bill in the right format: doPdf pdf converter solution
    • Download the free PDF conversion software. Please note, Validas is not affiliated with this software, we don’t get paid by them, but we recommend using it. While Validas uses this software we cannot guarantee it is free from Viruses or that it will work on your computer.
    • Save the software to a location on your computer and once the software is finished downloading, install the software using the default recommendations by the installer.
  2. After the software is installed, go to T-Mobile’s website and login to your account.
Note: If you do not have a Password to access your T-Mobile account, you will have to register your consumer account on their consumer site: www.t-mobile.com
  3. Once you are logged into your account on the T-Mobile website click the following menu options to get to your bill. "Manage" then "Billing & Payments" as highlighted in the screenshot below. 7. A new doPDF window will open just like the one shown below. Next you will want to choose a location on your computer that is easier for you to navigate to after creating the PDF document. Validas recommends saving the file to your desktop and renaming the file to be more descriptive. For example, rename the file to include the date. (i.e. TmobileBill_October2009.pdf). To change the location of where you want to store the bill select the browse button.
    doPDF save file dialog

  8. When you have the location of where you want to save the bill click the "Ok" button. The file will be created in the location you have specified and should open in your default pdf veiwer. You can close your default pdf viewer program unless you want to review your bill but that's what Validas is for.
  9. FOR Mac USERS ONLY: Go to the new window that just opened up your bill. Instead of printing to a printer, you are going to print your bill to Save as PDF.

I uploaded a T-Mobile business cell bill and a consumer cell bill following your instructions for T-Mobile. The analysis of the bill only includes some of the lines on my bill. It appears that the entire bill did not get uploaded. How do I correct this!
