How To - Print a T-Mobile bill as a PDF document on a Macintosh

  1. Begin by logging in to the T-Mobile Website
  2. Once you are logged into your account on the T-Mobile website click the following menu options to get to your bill. "Manage" then "Billing & Payments" as highlighted in the screenshot below. Once you see the below screen you will want to click on the "See Details" button as shown in the screenshot below.

  3. Now look for the "Print Format" button as shown below and click on it.

  4. In the new window that opens click the "Print" link as shown below

  5. In the print window that opens, click the PDF drop down list as shown below to bring up the PDF options, then select "Save as PDF".

  6. In the new window that opens, rename the document in the "Save As" text box so that you know what the document is called for future reference, then using the "Where" drop down list choose a location to save the bill on your MAC, Documents is a good place that is easy to remember and access, then click the "Save" button as shown below to save the file to your MAC.

How do I get my T-Mobile bill into a PDF?

Please note that if you do not use this method, which uses a free PDF program called Primo PDF, we cannot guarantee your T-Mobile bill will work.
  1. Go to the following website, http://www.download.com/PrimoPDF/3000-10743_4-10264577.html?part=dl-10264577&subj=dl&tag=button, to download the free PDF conversion software. Please note, that Validas is not affiliated with this software but we do recommend using it. While Validas uses this software we cannot guarantee it is free from Viruses or that it will work on your computer.
  2. Save the software to a location on your computer and once the software is finished downloading, install the software using the default recommendations by the installer.
  3. After the software is installed, go to T-Mobile’s website and login to your account.
  4. Once you are logged into your account on the T-Mobile website click the following menu options to get to your bill. "Manage" then "Billing & Payments" as highlighted in the screenshot below. Once you see the below screen you will want to click on the "See Details" button as shown in the screenshot below.

  5. Now look for the "Print Format" button as shown below and click on it.

  6. In the new window that opens click the "Print" link as shown below

  7. Your printer window should now open. Select the "doPDF" printer and then click the print or ok button, whichever is available. Depending on the size of your bill it may take a few minutes to prepare the bill for printing.

  8. A new doPDF window will open just like the one shown below. Next you will want to choose a location on your computer that is easier for you to navigate to after creating the PDF document. Validas recommends saving the file to your desktop and renaming the file to be more descriptive. For example, rename the file to include the date. (i.e. TmobileBill_October2009.pdf). To change the location of where you want to store the bill select the browse button.

  9. When you have the location of where you want to save the bill click the "Ok" button. The file will be created in the location you have specified and should open in your default pdf veiwer. You can close your default pdf viewer program unless you want to review your bill but that's what Validas is for.

What T-Mobile bill format is NOT supported?

The example below illustrates a partial T-Mobile bill. To download your entire T-Mobile bill, please follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Log in
    Login

  2. Choose "Manage" from the main menu and then click on "Your Profile" as shown below

  3. Click "Edit" beside the "Account security settings" header as shown below

  4. Select a primary number

  5. Set the permissions accordingly for each account. Choose "Full View" to allow other users on the account to print the full bill rather than just their information.

  6. Log Out, then log back in and you should see the correct bill format

Miscellaneous

Saving your bill using a Macintosh computer

When saving your bill using a Macintosh computer you must use the SAVE FILE option. If you use the Open with Preview option your bill will not be processed accurately and we cannot guarantee it will work at all.

Are PDF bills where I used my own PDF program (ghostscript, pdf-xchange, adobe, bluebeam) supported?

No, you must use the pdf bill provided by your carrier. If you are a T-Mobile customer you must follow the instructions listed above, under the question "How do I get my T-Mobile bill into a PDF?"

Are scanned PDF bills supported?

No, you must use the original pdf bill provided by your carrier. You can not use a scanned copy of your paper bill.

Do you analyze bills in Spanish? ¿Te analizar proyectos de ley en español?

No

Are Unity bills supported; bills that combine wireless and landline?

No. We do not support unity bills by any carrier at this time.

What carriers are currently supported?

AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Nextel, T-Mobile and US Cellular

Are screen captures of my bill or my account of my carriers website supported?

No, you must use the original pdf bill provided by your carrier. You can not take a screen capture of your bill or your online account and turn it into a pdf document and upload it to our service. We will not be able to properly analyze this format. We need the original pdf bill that you can download from your carrier or if you are a T-Mobile customer you must follow our steps above to create a proper Pdf version of your bill that we can analyze.
